Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire is a sleepy community on that part of the island in Montreal named"the West Island. Most people do not know the meaning of the word and believe it's an island that is separate from Montreal. Actually, it is a part of the West Island includes the entire area from Lachine to the west. Amanda Brugel is said to be a native of the West island, though her stay was short. Brugel grew up in Courtice located outside of Oshawa, Ontario. She wanted to become a dancer from the start however, due to an explosive growth rate, she outgrew all of her dance partners. She acknowledged in a piece published by the Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall, even when she was wearing heels. After I grew beyond the male colleagues I was working with, I decided to quit. A lot of former dancers go on to acting, and in Bruce's case, it was a nudge from an instructor in drama at high school that led her into the correct direction. The teacher was the one who advised her to audition in the role of Anne for their school's annual production. She tried it out and became the lead female in Anne of Green Gables. She was given a Fine Arts Talent scholarship at York University, where she was a theatre student and earned the Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2000.
