Sharni Vinson
born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson was raised in Sydney's southern beach area of Cronulla. In her teens the swimmer competed on the National Level for swimming and held four State records in high school. Sharni began singing, dancing and acting at a very young stage, and was the youngest generation of performers within her family. She was raised by performers from the musical theatre and her mother was awarded the Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. At the age of 12 Sharni enrolled as a student in the Brent Street School of Performing Arts located in Sydney and was trained across all dance styles for the next 10 years. In the year 17 after completing high school, Sharni was signed by Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the girl-only pop group "Foxfire IV" The group's debut single "Roses" reached the top 50 of the Australia's ARIA charts.
